JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Development Manager
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
Salary: £50,000.00 – £60,000.00 per year
Location: Strood, Kent, ME2 4DZ (Hybrid Role)
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Create and implement effective business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design campaigns that attract new clients.
- Collaborate with Depot Managers to identify potential opportunities within their area.
- Forecasting and achieving revenue targets.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company’s services.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development or sales management, preferably within the plant hire industry.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales/revenue targets.
- Knowledge of plant machinery and attachments within the plant hire industry.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Self motivated with a results driven mindset.
